Founder/Musical Director, Connexion Shape Note-Singers, 2003-present
Lead shape-note vocal ensemble dedicated to performance and scholarship of rural American composers and tunebook compilers as found in the 18th Century repertoire on New England Psalmody as well as the 19th Century Sacred Harp tradition and contemporary practices.
Founder/Co-Director, Boston University Student Organization for Traditional Music, 2004-present
Responsibilities include the co-direction of weekly E. African learning sessions with Master teachers from Uganda, the direction of weekly open singings from American Shape-note traditions of folk choral singing, the coordination of performances involving East and West African traditions alongside Creole and African-American styles.

Co-direct music and dance ensemble begun by James Makubaya with college students and traditional Ugandan performers Moses Buyundo and Moses Sehija.
